spam spam spam spam spam spam bacon eggs and spam
Upgraded to WordPress 2.04. Again, didn’t pass my JND threshold, can’t say I can tell anything’s different.
I did get some MASSIVE spam attack on the site (I’m talking hundreds of spam messages in my mailbox), all originating from the same ip address (71.246.58.139 in case you were wondering). After deleting a bunch of them, I started noticing the number isn’t decreasing in the pace I’m deleting – I was still getting spammed! So I quickly moved the evil ip address to the blacklist, and after a bunch of spam had accumulated in the moderation queue, I sent hem all to akismet spam. I also notified his provider’s abuse email that they have a spambot on one of their addresses that better fucking stop. GUH. Like anyone actually clicks one of these links. I don’t get it.
I mean, maybe, when the internet was young, people still mistakenly clicked on spam, but nowadays? Why even bother? Ah well, I guess if it wasn’t worth it, they wouldn’t do it, so people do still clicky on the links. Serves us humans right for being so dumb.
Installed Bad Behavior (it pains me to spell this without a “u”), in hopes of catching some more of them spambots.
Also tried AJAXifying the site again today. For some reason it made it slower, so I turned it off.
That’s it for site changes for now. I’m so lazy. GUH.

Dude, next time tell me or Tal and we will black list the IP in the firewall!
I was hoping if I post the ip some hax0r with an overdeveloped sense of justice would just go a fux0r his bot.
i have been getting about 10 comment spams/day. mostly almost identical. unpleasant.
Yes, very MEH. Apparantly, adding the i.p. to the blacklist and sending them to spam from the moderation queue is the only way to teach akismet that certain messages are spam. GUH. Maybe you should try BAD BEHAVIOR too, it’s worth a shot I guess.
I really like your site, it’s mui shiny and stuff. I wish I had the will to do any webdesign..!
